MSNBC’s Ed Schultz: I Was Biden’s Debate Coach

MSNBC’s Ed Schultz responded to a remark RNC Chair Reince Priebus made about what many deemed to be Vice President Joe Biden‘s “rude” debate performance. Schultz must have been involved in debate prep, Priebus said. And Schultz himself agreed.

After the debate, Priebus remarked on CNN, “I don’t know who his debate partner was. Maybe it was Ed Schultz from MSNBC, I’m not sure.”

“Thank you Reince Priebus, I was the coach,” Schultz said. They’ll send out a press release later, he quipped.

“Because this is how you handle these liars,” he added. “You don’t let them get away with it. The conversation in this country doesn’t have to civil when it comes to — not that Mr. Biden was not civil — but it doesn’t have to be civil when it comes to the politics of this country. It doesn’t have to be.”
