Must-See Late Night Clip: ‘Really?!?’ with Seth and Amy Returns
What if there was a tweet so egregious that it forced Amy Poehler and Seth Meyers to reunite for their classic Weekend Update bit “Really?!?” on Late Night? That’s just what happened last night when Poehler showed up to help Meyers take down Sports Illustrated’s Andy Benoit, who said “women’s sports in general” are “not worth watching.”
“Really, Andy Benoit, there’s nothing in women’s sports worth watching?” Poehler asked. “I think a lot of people would love to watch you say that to Serena Williams.”
Benoit has since deleted his original tweet and replaced them with this seemingly sincere apology:
My sincere apologies for last night’s senseless tweets. I got carried away responding to playful ribbing ….

…. and, in my stupidity, overcompensated by saying something ignorant and extreme. 100% mistake on my part, for which I'm deeply sorry.
