Nancy Pelosi: Obamacare’s ‘Glitches’ are ‘Unacceptable’

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told ABC News anchor Martha Raddatz on Sunday that the “glitches” associated with the roll-out of the Affordable Care Act are “unacceptable.” She stressed that those errors associated with the health care exchanges website “has to be fixed.”

“As far as the Affordable Care Act, as I call it, the fact is, that yes what has happened is unacceptable in terms of the glitches,” Pelosi said on ABC’s This Week on Sunday. “They were overwhelmed to begin with.”

“The Republicans are going to use what happened as weapon?” Raddatz asked.

“I don’t know if they do because it doesn’t matter,” the minority leader replied.

“This has to be fixed, but what doesn’t have to be fixed is the fact that tens of millions of more people will have access to affordable, quality health care,” Pelosi continued. “That no longer having a preexisting medical condition will bar you from getting affordable care.”
