Obama Refuses to Anoint a New ‘Shellacking’ for 2014

The morning after the 2010 midterm elections, President Barack Obama admitted that the Democrats had just undergone a “shellacking” at the hands of Republicans. So, what would he call what happened last night?

That was actually the question that Reuters correspondent Jeff Mason asked the president during today’s White House press conference. Obama was having none of it, simply saying the Republicans “had a good night.”
