Only Charlie Rose Could Bring Together Lynne Cheney and Louis C.K

What do Lynne Cheney and Louis C.K. have in common? They both taped interviews with Charlie Rose this week… and that’s about it.

Cheney snapped a photo with the comedian backstage at The Charlie Rose Show last night and posted it to her 283 Twitter followers, admitted that she initially called him “Louis B.K.”:

C.K. did her the favor of retweeting the photo to his nearly 3.4 million followers before sharing a message of his own about the historic meeting:

some day I'll tell. It was a delightful moment. Really very intelligent and sweet person. Riveting interview about her book.

Apparently, he stuck around the set to watch Cheney discuss her new book on James Madison and found it “riveting.” He did not say whether or not they discussed that time he asked Donald Rumsfeld if he’s a “lizard from outer space that eats human flesh.”
