Oops: CNN Shows Map Of Tripoli… Lebanon

As you’re likely aware by this point, Tripoli is the capital city of Libya. Libya is a country in North Africa that has been in the news quite a bit lately. This is why it is unfortunate that CNN displayed a graphic showing a map of that other Tripoli, over in Lebanon.

One place is slightly more swept up in a revolution than the other. So rest assured that Libyan rebels have not advanced on Lebanon.
