Oops: Dem Rep. Suggests ‘Sexting’ to Get Out the Vote

No one pays much attention to C-SPAN, especially on holiday weekends, but luckily The Daily Caller flagged a hilarious flub by Congressman James Clyburn when he was talking about mobilizing voters in an appearance on C-SPAN 2 during Labor Day weekend.

Clyburn said, “Use the tools that we have. We’ve got great tools to communicate by everything else. We can text, uh, what do we call that? Sexting! Let’s do some voting, organizing over the internet.”

Uh… sexting? I think he probably meant texting there, because dear God in heaven we don’t need any more links between members of Congress and sexting
