O’Reilly: Hillary Should Bring in the FBI to Look Through Her Server

Bill O’Reilly tonight had a suggestion for Hillary Clinton to clear up the controversy over her emails: get the FBI involved.

Clinton defended herself earlier, but O’Reilly didn’t think it went far enough. Despite him wanting to give her the benefit of the doubt, Clinton saying she “deleted some emails she says were private” gives ammo to critics crying about a cover-up.

In order to reconcile the public’s right to know with Clinton’s concerns about her privacy, O’Reilly suggested Clinton enlist the FBI’s help and request they “examine her server,” with assurances that nothing truly private will be made public.

And this way, the public is not solely relying on Clinton’s judgment about what was work-related and what was personal. After all, O’Reilly said, “it should not be up to her or any public official to delete emails while on the job.”
