O’Reilly on Stewart Debate: Pushing White Privilege ‘Creates Victimization’

Bill O’Reilly followed up tonight on his intense debate with Jon Stewart over white privilege. O’Reilly reaffirmed his belief that while black people have it hard in America sometimes, pushing the idea of white privilege “creates victimization.”

Stewart wasted no time in jumping on the issue last night, and he and O’Reilly nearly got into a shouting match with each other. O’Reilly said it’s silly for Stewart to make these arguments because there’s no more slavery or Jim Crow.

And tonight, O’Reilly followed up by saying while it’s important to understand the past, “creating current policy around it is foolish.” That being said, despite how heated it got, O’Reilly wanted to make clear there were “no hard feelings” between him and Stewart, and they always make sure to have lively but respectful debates.
