Outnumbered Gets Heated on Florida Shooter: ‘I Wish That He Had Taken Himself Out’

Fox News’ Outnumbered got heated during a discussion on the high school shooting in Parkland, Florida that left 17 people dead this week — with one host going so far as to wish that the gunman should have killed himself.

Things kicked off as Fox Business Network anchor Dagen McDowell hit the FBI for “dropping the ball” after being tipped off about the shooter leaving a comment on YouTube in which he expressed his desire to be a school shooter.

“This was about seven months after he had already purchased the weapon he used to kill all of those people,” McDowell said, before launching into an emotional monologue about previous mass shootings.

“This is on the heels of Dylann Roof getting a gun when he shouldn’t have, and murdering people in a church in Charleston. This is the Fort Hood shooter that the FBI knew that he was in contact with a terrorist, didn’t tell the army. This is Omar Mateen who was investigated twice by the FBI.

“And they never did anything,” McDowell said, her voice breaking.

After Fox contributor Jessica Tarlov ran down the series of red flags raised with 19-year-old Florida shooter Nikolas Cruz, McDowell expressed in blunt terms her disgust with the gunman.

“I don’t think that I’m overstepping by saying that I don’t want to ever see that SOB’s face ever again,” she said.

Outnumbered panelist Lisa Kennedy took things a step further: “I wish that he had taken himself out before he —” she said, before getting cut off.

“Nope, nope, nope, nope, let’s move on,” Melissa Francis interjected, transitioning seamlessly to President Donald Trump‘s response to the shooting.
