12.6 Million Watched Last Night’s Republican Debate on CNN
The ratings are in for CNN’s Republican debate last night. From the official kickoff of the debate to the end, CNN averaged a total of 12.62 million viewers total.
Telemundo, which co-sponsored and simulcasted the debate, had 1.26 million viewers, which means over 13 million watched the debate between both networks.
CNN scored roughly 3.83 million viewers in the 25-54 demographic alone, and online there were 2.1 million total live streams.
The CNN debate ended up doing slightly better than the previous cable news debate held on Fox News––with 12.5 million––and that did well despite the absence of Donald Trump.
