Palin: With Trump, Polls Aren’t Only ‘Good for Strippers and Cross-Country Skiers’ Anymore
Sarah Palin has been pulling for Donald Trump in the past few weeks, so of course, she brought out her unique verve to help him drum up support today for the Iowa caucus.
Trump loves to bring up all of the polls that show him kicking his competitors to the curb. Even though Palin said she does not always trust these measurements, she’s now saying she has complete faith in how they describe the mogul’s superiority, and she did so with one of the corniest jokes in the book.
“Usually, I say polls are only good for strippers and cross-country skiers,” Palin joked to Extra, “but in this case, I do think the polls are accurate and are reflecting that the American people, the electorate… we’re looking for something different.
From there, Palin continued with the usual Trump stump: bashing the status quo, calling his outsider campaign “refreshing,” and all the usual good stuff.
“He’s going rogue all the time, and I think that’s what Americans are craving right now is some candidness, some willingness to talk about the issues that are first and foremost on our hearts and minds to get constitutional government back into the system,” Palin said.
