Piers Morgan Declares His Love For a Blushing Brooke Baldwin Live On CNN

Brooke Baldwin had a quick interview with Piers Morgan Monday afternoon in advance of the one-year anniversary celebration of his show, which will kick off tonight on CNN with special guest Chelsea Handler.

Baldwin tried to get clever and catch Morgan off-guard with a popular question of his own. “How many times,” she asked, “have you been properly in love?”

“I’m not sure I ever knew I’d been properly in love,” Morgan replied, “until I was in Atlanta last week and a vision of unparalleled beauty walked through what we call the mothership, the CNN headquarters there, and I thought, ‘Wow, now I’m properly in love,’ and it turned out to be… Brook Baldwin. There you were.”

A blushing Baldwin tried to move the interview along, as Morgan eventually pointed out that her face was the color of her jacket. But Baldwin got some degree of revenge. As she closed out the interview, she had her producers show a picture of her sitting in Piers’ seat in New York, with her feet up on his desk.

“Outrageous liberties!” Morgan screamed.
