Scott Brown’s Daughter, Ayla, Joining CBS’s Early Show

There’s plenty of room in Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown’s family for more than one public figure. After graduating this month from Boston College, the Associated Press reports that the junior Senator’s oldest daughter, Ayla, will be continuing on her career in the spotlight by joining CBS’s Early Show.

While the most memorable recent moment involving Brown’s daughter is likely the time her father used his victory speech to let the free world know she was “available,” Ayla is no stranger to network broadcasts or putting herself out there. In 2006, she was a semifinalist on American Idol (which of course led to her own mini-recording career, music video and all), and she also was a starter on BC’s basketball team for several seasons.

When Ayla joins the Early Show, she will be producing and contributing segments aimed at the youth audience.
