Sen. Scott: Will New HHS Secretary Just ‘Carry Water for Obama?’
Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) appeared on Fox News Sunday this morning and asked whether Sylvia Mathews Burwell, President Barack Obama’s nominee to replace outgoing Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, would serve the country or the Obama administration’s political goals.
“There’s no doubt that she had to go,” Scott said. “When you think of healthcare.gov being synonymous with failure, there have to be changes.”

“The real question we should be asking ourselves, is, as we look at the confirmation hearing, will the next secretary have Americans first, or will they have the administration’s policies and trying to carry the water for the president as their primary responsibility?”
