Senator McConnell Makes Humor Jokes About Stimulus Package, John Edwards And Tiger Woods

But no, the joke wasn’t in the “package” part. Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell certainly has a way with words: This morning on Fox News Sunday, the GOP Senate Minority Leader spoke out against Obama’s economic stimulus package, and even tried to…make a joke? Maybe? We’re really not quite sure what his comments about Tiger Woods and John Edwards having a better year than the stimulus package were supposed to mean. Does the economy have a sex problem or secret love-child that we should know about? What?

Here are some better comparisons for McConnell for his next televised appearance: Nicolas Cage, Wesley Snipes, Bernie Madoff, Donald Trump, Sam Zell and the Tribune Co. …actually, let’s just add The New York Times on that list too. See? These jokes just write themselves.
