SNL40: Jerry Seinfeld Drops Brian Williams Jokes, Takes Question from Palin
“You know there are so many things about Saturday Night Live that people don’t know. Like for example, I just found out that one of the original cast members in 1975 was Brian Williams,” Jerry Seinfeld said when he took the stage at SNL’s 40th anniversary show. “I don’t know if that’s true, but I never heard that. It doesn’t sound true.”
The comedian proceeded to take questions from Michael Douglas, John Goodman, Larry David and others before finally calling on “Tina” — or rather, Sarah Palin, who wanted to know how much Lorne Michaels would pay her to run for president in 2016 with Donald Trump as her running mate.
“I don’t think there’s a number too big,” Seinfeld told her.
