Someone at E! Has a Very Loose Definition of What Constitutes a Fun Fact

Tonight is Golden Globes night, but before we can get to the actual awards ceremony, we have to endure lots of self-congratulation on the red carpet. And fun facts! E! tried to entertain viewers with their fun facts, but whoever came up with these supposed “fun” facts might want to look that word up in a dictionary.

Oh for f*ck’s sake.

Michael J. Fox, by the way, is currently starring in the NBC show The Michael J. Fox Show. I don’t have a joke here, I just wanted to give an example of what a FUN fact is.

UPDATE: E! has since apologized, calling it an “insensitive classification,” saying, “We understand the serious nature of the disease and sincerely apologize.” That, however, did not stop an onslaught of Twitter mockery after it showed up on screen.
