Star Football Recruit Withdraws from OU after SAE Video
Oklahoma University, known for its English department but looking to improve its performance in college football, lost a four-star recruit Monday when Dallas-area junior Jean Delance withdrew his early commitment to the school after video emerged of OU frat members engaged in a racist chant.
“They are uneducated people,” Delance told KTVT-Dallas. “I wouldn’t want my son or child to go there or to anywhere like that.”

“We have a strong family history with racial issues, inequality,” Delance’s mother said. “These things are serious to us. He brought me that video, first thing I said was, ‘What do you want to do?'”
OU president David Boren booted the frat off campus and issued a brutal statement denouncing their behavior.
Delance said he has already heard from University of Alabama, which is just perfect.
