Colbert Celebrates New SuperPAC By Immediately Swiping Credit Cards

 

Yesterday, the Federal Election Commission has officially approved Stephen Colbert’s SuperPAC, allowing him to create independent advertisements and raise unlimited campaign donations in the 2012 election cycle. Predictably, this was the focus of last night’s episode of The Colbert Report, which featured a number of segments dedicated to the newly approved SuperPAC. What was unpredictable was Colbert’s immediate fundraising efforts, which included his catching of wadded up bills thrown at him AND swiping of credit cards on his iPad. Good times!
