Stephen Colbert Stands Up for Scottish Independence

On Sunday, John Oliver used his unique role as late night Englishman to plead with Scotland to stay part of the UK. But last night, Stephen Colbert went the other way, busting out a kilt and bagpipes to officially join the Scottish Independence movement.
“Folks, anytime people are angrily demanding something and I don’t entirely understand why, I am with them,” Colbert declared. “So I stand with my secessionist brothers,” the host said later. “Today, I, Stephen Colbert am a proud Scotsman.”
“Ich bin ein Edinburgher!” Colbert shouted, revealing his kilt and trying desperately to get some sort of noise to come out of his bagpipes.
