Stunning Video Shows Man Surviving Seizure While Skydiving

A YouTube video posted yesterday and nearing 4 million views appeared to show a man surviving after suffering a seizure during a skydiving session.

Christopher Jones described “possibly the scariest moment of my life” (possibly?) in the accompanying text.

“At around 9000ft I have a seizure while attempting a left hand turn,” Jones wrote. “I then spend the next 30 seconds in free fall unconscious. Thankfully my jumpmaster manages to pull my ripcord at around 4000ft.”

According to the video, Jones regained consciousness at about 3,000 feet and landed safely.

“They initially thought I had freaked out, didn’t know what was happening,” Jones said in a later interview via NBC News. “They didn’t realize until we actually reviewed the footage and I told them I had blacked out.”
