Cable news is full of all sorts of vibrant personalities: Wonks/intellects, blowhards, know-it-alls, sociopaths, narcissists, slimeballs, etc.
But since cable news is a cutthroat competitive business, there’s one personality type that is quite prevalent (yet somehow goes unmentioned): The dudebro.
We won’t try to define what a “bro” is here, because if you’re at all familiar with the term, you just know them when you see them. (Suffice it to say, these college stereotypes should give you a clue: An overeager frat boy; that one lax player that wore his uniform at all times to impress the ladies; or that guy in tie-dye playing Jack Johnson on the guitar on the quad to impress the ladies.)
Some of those personality types (and more) make their way into successful cable news careers. And so here’s a list of cable news dudebros, ranked. Happy Friday:
