The View Has Reportedly Chosen Two New Co-Hosts
The View has gone through a lot of changes in the past year. Last year, Barbara Walters, Jenny McCarthy, and Sherri Shepherd all left the daytime talk show (McCarthy after only one season). They then brought on Rosie O’Donnell, Rosie Perez, and Nicolle Wallace.
Well, O’Donnell left a few months ago, and both Perez and Wallace are out at the end of the season.
So with Whoopi Goldberg as the only one left, The View has had to find new co-hosts to bring into the fold. Raven-Symoné and Michelle Collins were both named as new permanent co-hosts, and there’s a report today saying there are two more names ABC plans to bring on.
According to a Variety exclusive, Candace Cameron Bure and Paula Faris are in final negotiations to join the daytime roundtable.
Cameron Bure is best known for playing D.J. Tanner on Full House (she’ll be back for Fuller House), and Faris co-anchors Good Morning America Weekend for ABC News.
