Threatening Letter, White Powder Forced Evacuation At Dancing With The Stars
Producers at ABC’s hit show Dancing with the Stars reveal this morning the show’s production was halted Friday when a letter arrived at the show’s Los Angeles studio filled with white powder and a letter making threats.
According to RadarOnline, none of the remaining contestants–including celebrity kid Bristol Palin–was in the building at the time, and Southern California authorities later identified the white substance as talcum powder:
“An envelope containing an unknown substance was delivered to the Dancing with the Stars production office on Friday evening,” an ABC rep said in a statement. “Security and the Los Angeles Fire Department and the Los Angeles Police Department were immediately notified. Measures were taken to secure the area and ensure the safety of personnel.”
Bristol Palin, Jennifer Grey and Kyle Massey are the three stars who will be competing in the DWTS finale Monday night, and Bristol has been surrounded by controversy from her first appearance.
