Trump Aide Previews RNC Convention: ‘This Is the Ultimate Reality Show’

The Republican convention, with Donald Trump as the nominee, will be a grand spectacle (either in a good or bad way), as top Trump aide Paul Manafort told Chris Matthews tonight.

Matthews asked him exactly how they plan to make four straight nights of television “compelling” (aside from having Trump appear for each of them).

Manafort talked up how they’ll be working with the RNC on this, but Matthews skeptically asked, “Reince Priebus is going to give us an exciting convention? Come on!”

Manafort assured it’ll be exciting. Matthews asked, “A reality show of some kind?”

He answered, “This is the ultimate reality show. It’s the presidency of the United States.”
