Trump Supporter on CNN Scolds Anderson Cooper for ‘Needling’ Trump

A Donald Trump supporter on CNN this afternoon criticized Anderson Cooper for “needling” the GOP frontrunner during CNN’s town hall last night.

Terra Grant was specifically talking about Cooper telling Trump that his “I didn’t start it” excuse on the fight over candidates’ wives is exactly what a five-year-old would say.

Grant said that Cooper was “needling” Trump more than he would any other candidate in the race, and she claimed that supporters of other GOP candidates she spoke to agreed that Cooper “may have hit below the belt.”

CNN’s Gloria Borger stepped in to defend Cooper and said he wasn’t trying to insult Trump, just that
