Tuesday Cable News Ratings: CNN’s New Day Beats MSNBC’s Morning Joe in Demo

On the first day of the government shutdown, CNN’s New Day was up big in the 25-54 demo, beating MSNBC’s Morning Joe. New Day increased to 228K in the demo while Morning Joe dropped to 167K. The MSNBC show beat CNN in total viewers 670K to 576K.
Fox’s Fox & Friends was #1 in the demo and total viewers with 349K and 1.472M respectively.
