Twelve-Year Old ‘Dance’ Contestant Throws Up on Paula Abdul

Oh man. This might be tough to live down for all parties involved.

Twelve-year-old Tahani Anderson managed to wow the judges of So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation, but Paula Abdul got MUCH more than she bargained for as she offered her congratulations.

The aspiring hip-hop dancer did an impressive routine to Beyonce‘s “Countdown” on Monday night, and Abdul, Nigel Lythgoe and Jason Derulo all voted to send her to the next round. Anderson approached them to get her ticket to the Dance Academy, but Abdul asked if Anderson was okay when she noticed she was puffing up her cheeks.

It was not okay, not at all.

“I’m so sorry,” Anderson quickly said, and Abdul assured her it was alright before she went on her way.

“Well, I hugged Nigel, then I hugged Paula,” Anderson explained, “and she just squeezed me too tight, and all the happiness came out on her jacket.”
