Veep Launches Vicious Campaign Attacking VP Selina Meyer

It looks like the parallel universe of HBO’s Veep just got its very own super PAC. With the fictional Vice President Selina Meyer’s run for president comes Citizens Against Selina Meyer, a shadowy group that has its own website, Twitter account, and campaign ads. And thanks to Citizens United, they don’t have to tell you who’s footing the bill (but we’re pretty sure its HBO).

Using some of the most outrageous clips from the show, the PAC demonstrates why Meyer is utterly unfit to be president. One ad, titled “3 a.m.” turns the classic Hillary Clinton ad of the same name on its head. Another strings together Meyers’ most embarrassing gaffes to show why she’s “wrong for America.”

If anything, these ads just prove how hard it would be for anyone in Washington to get elected if they had cameras capturing all of their most private moments.
