Very Hard Not To Laugh: Passerby Trips And Falls Behind Local News Reporter

A very solemn WABC 7 report on a Bronx robbery went awry when a woman in the background tripped and fell to the ground. Reporter Joe Torres, aware that something was amiss behind him, turned around. Apparently disappointed that it wasn’t the robber, he ignored the flub and finished his field report as though nothing had happened.

Yet something had happened. But what? The circumstances surrounding this Bronx blunder are mysterious, especially considering that two—yes, two!—other pedestrians were seen zipping by Torres without any ambulatory hitches. We want answers, Torres!

But for now, all we have is this video. Also, note how long it takes the woman to recover from her spill. Perhaps she was considering staying on the ground until the segment was over? I think I might’ve. [Via Urlesque]
