WATCH: Giorgia Meloni Caught in Epic Eye-Roll at G7 Roundtable

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni went viral Monday after viewers of a G7 roundtable spotted her rolling her eyes during a private exchange with French President Emmanuel Macron at the summit in Canada.

The viral clip, captured during Monday’s session by Fox News, shows Macron whispering to Meloni while both shield their mouths with their hands. The camera cuts to President Donald Trump as he gets settled in a chair in the background, but it was Meloni’s weary expression and pointed glance skyward at whatever Macron said that caught notice.

The summit, attended by leaders from the US, UK, Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the EU, focused officially on trade and global security.

By Monday evening, the G7 released a statement condemning Iran’s nuclear ambitions and calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.

Trump’s early departure from the summit sparked another diplomatic flare-up after Macron claimed the president had left “to go back to DC to work on a ceasefire between Israel and Iran.”

Trump hit back on Truth Social and blasted the idea as “FAKE NEWS”: “Publicity-seeking President Emmanuel Macron, of France, mistakenly said that I left the G7 Summit… Wrong!”
