WATCH: Jimmy Kimmel Responds to Each and Every Angry Kanye Tweet

Jimmy Kimmel got an unexpected surprise Thursday evening when Kanye West unleashed a torrent of angry tweets on the late night host for a comedy sketch he aired comparing the rapper to a small child. Never one to waste an opportunity like this one, Kimmel discussed his “rap feud” on his show last night, offering a rebuttal to each and every tweet.

Kimmel began by revealing that West also called him personally to express how furious he was, saying he had two choices: “Number one: apologize publicly. And that was really the only choice.” West added, “Your life is going to be much better if you apologize.” Also never one to intentionally make his life easier, Kimmel did nothing of the sort.

He proceeded to show each of West’s increasingly unhinged tweets on screen, responding to each one specifically. Here’s a taste:

“I don’t even know what that refers to.”

“I’ve seen the video, I know.”

“It might, I mean more than happy to give it a shot if you’d like.”

Once Kimmel made it through all the tweets, he said, “I don’t understand it. I don’t know why he’s angry. The bit was pretty, I thought, innocuous, but finally I’m in a rap feud!”
