WATCH: Letterman and Lindsay Lohan Prank Call Oprah Winfrey

Lindsay Lohan is joining David Letterman on the Late Show tonight and as you can see in the preview clip below, the troubled actress thought it might be fun to call Oprah Winfrey, who produced the recent reality series about her attempt at recovery, during her interview.

When Letterman somehow got Winfrey on the phone, he appeared to genuinely confound her by pretending to be Lohan’s secretary. When she figured out who she was actually talking to, Winfrey responded, “Oh my God. The David Letterman who’s retiring?”

It’s unclear whether Winfrey knew Lohan was listening in the conversation as well, but fortunately did not say anything too terrible about her. “I think she’s doing OK,” Winfrey told Letterman. “We’re really pleased that she’s making some progress.”
