WATCH LIVE: Obama Makes Statement Requesting Automatic Spending Cuts Delay

President Obama is scheduled to appear at 1:15pm ET during the daily White House press briefing to make a statement regarding the upcoming sequestration, or automatic spending cuts.

According to the Associated Press, the president will ask Congress to “come up with tens of billions of dollars in short-term spending cuts and tax revenue to put off the automatic across the board cuts that are scheduled to kick in March 1.”
