Watch: YouTube Employees Frisked As They Exit Campus Amid Active Shooter Reports
An active shooter has been reported at YouTube headquarters in San Bruno, California, and those getting out of the building are being stopped and frisked by police.
CNN showed video of the scene, in which YouTube employees had their hands above their heads and were being patted down by police officers before they were allowed to leave.
According to the Los Angeles Times, police sources said that two people were shot in the incident:
At least two people were reportedly struck by gunfire according to a law enforcement source who was not authorized to speak publicly about the incident.
YouTube employee Vadim Lavrusik tweeted that he and some coworkers barricaded themselves inside a room in the building and was subsequently evacuated:
Active shooter at YouTube HQ. Heard shots and saw people running while at my desk. Now barricaded inside a room with coworkers.
