Female Suspect Dead, Four Wounded After Shooting at YouTube HQ (UPDATED)


Police are responding to a potential shooting at YouTube HQ in San Bruno, California.

One YouTube employee tweeted there is an “active shooter” in the building:

KRON4 is reporting that the city manager received “multiple 9-1-1 calls from YouTube.”

One law enforcement source told the LA Times that “at least two people” were shot.

UPDATE –– 5:16 pm ET: NBC News is now reporting that the female suspect is dead at the scene:

UPDATE –– 5:40 pm ET: The police chief confirmed authorities found a female victim, possibly the suspect, with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

UPDATE –– 5:43 pm ET: The Daily Beast is reporting, per a law enforcement source, that the suspect “shot her boyfriend.”
