Sunday night, The New York Times’ David Carr confirmed what we at Mediaite have been predicting for months: Piers Morgan’s 9pm show on CNN is coming to an end. Now, the task falls to CNN president Jeff Zucker to decide who will replace the ratings-deprived Morgan during that vital prime time hour.


Below is a look at some of the names that have been floating around as likely candidates, along with some more unconventional picks that could actually help “shake-up” CNN this year.
