Yikes: Fox Anchor Mistakes Chris Wallace for Chris Matthews

It’s safe to assume that in the Fox News offices, Chris Matthews is the enemy (or one of them). He works for a rival cable news network, he regularly bashes Fox, and he’s the political polar opposite of Fox’s star commentators. And that’s why this clip is particularly cringe-worthy.

While concluding an interview with the network’s highly-respected Sunday political talk show host Chris Wallace, Fox anchor Jon Scott casually identified his colleague as Chris Matthews.

Oops.

Wallace corrected Scott and everyone had a laugh. But boy was it awkward at first.
