‘You Were Gonna Keep it Quiet?!’ Fox’s Will Cain Rips Musk Over Trump-Epstein Files Accusation

Fox News host Will Cain tore into Elon Musk on Thursday over the Tesla CEO’s explosive claim that President Donald Trump appears in the Jeffrey Epstein files.

Cain blasted the accusation during an interview with Sean Davis, CEO of The Federalist, as the feud between Trump and Musk escalated throughout Thursday.

“I want to believe you’re right,” Cain told Davis, who said he believed Trump and Musk would reconcile.

“But here is Elon Musk posting about Trump being in the Epstein files, and that’s why they haven’t been released. And here’s Elon seemingly endorsing a post that says ‘Impeach Trump and install JD Vance.’ I don’t know how you patch that up,” Cain said.

Cain followed up with a sharp rebuke of Musk.

“If you are suggesting that the reason the Epstein files weren’t released is because Trump is in the Epstein files — so what?” he said. “You knew that? But you were gonna keep it quiet if you liked the spending cuts? What is this truth teller today exposing about the guy yesterday?”

Davis defended Trump and downplayed Musk’s accusations as those of an emotional “ex” lashing out.

“Elon just spent $250 million helping Trump get elected,” Davis said. “If he can swing one way that fast, he can swing back. But the American people elected Trump — not Elon Musk.”

He added, “Elon is brilliant, but politics isn’t engineering. And sometimes people lash out when they’re reminded they’re not the one in charge.”

Early Thursday, Trump downplayed Musk’s role in his election and threatened to cut the billionaire’s government contracts.

Musk fired back on X, accusing Trump of lying and stating, “@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”

The Tesla and SpaceX CEO also wrote, “Without me, Trump would have lost the election… Such ingratitude.”
