‘Are You Posting Bail Today?’ Reporter Screams At Trump As He Bemoans ‘Witch Hunt’ On Way Into Court

Former President Donald Trump railed against the Stormy Daniels hush money case on his way into court — as a reporter screamed “Are you going to get bail?” and asked about posting a bond — potentially a reference to the $465M fraud appeal bond.

Reporters lined up waiting Monday for Trump to appear in court before Judge Juan Merchan for a hearing in the case that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has brought involving hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels, which resulted in a several-dozen-count indictment of Trump.

Monday is also the deadline for Trump to pay the bond to appeal the fraud judgment — which could cost him in excess of $460 million if appeals are unsuccessful. If Trump’s Truth Social account is any indication, he went to court in a pretty foul mood.

As Trump entered the courthouse, he gave very brief remarks to reporters — who screamed at him about being given bail and whether he would post a bond today:

REPORTER: Mr. Trump, Are you posting bail today? Are you getting a bond?

DONALD TRUMP: Thank you very much everybody.

REPORTER: Are you getting a bond today?

DONALD TRUMP: This is a witch hunt. This is a witch hunt. It’s a hoax. Thank you.

Trump spent the morning bombarding Truth Social with posts about the fraud bond, including one post in which he called his properties his “babies” and repeated his debunked attack that President Joe Biden is directing the cases against him:

BRAGG ADMITTED THERE WAS NO CRIME, WAS MORTIFIED BY WHAT MARK POMERANCE DID – AND HE SHOULD BE. WITCH HUNT!
