Tesla CEO and X owner Elon Musk believes that former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley’s campaign died at NewsNation’s Republican primary debate on Wednesday.

After conservative activist and DeSantis supporter Chris Rufo declared that “Nikki Haley coming out in support of Disney, BlackRock, ESG, and child sex-changes is just perfect” and described her as “the right hand of the left,” Muck chimed in to assert that “her campaign is dead.”

Notably, Musk was featured at DeSantis’s glitchy campaign launch, which was hosted by Musk’s social media platform, then known as Twitter, but has not formally endorsed DeSantis’s campaign.

Haley was the object of many attacks on Wednesday night as a result of her steady rise in the polls.

Vivek Ramaswamy told Haley that if she “can’t tell the difference between where Israel is and the U.S. is on a map,” that he could have his “three-year-old son” show her the difference and at one point held up a notepad with “NIKKI = CORRUPT” written on it.

DeSantis, on the other hand, repeatedly criticized Haley for her corporate donors and her ostensible membership in the Republican “establishment.”

“She caves anytime the left comes after her, anytime the media comes after her,” he insisted.

“The next president of the United States needs to be able to go to that office on day one and end ESG. And the fact of the matter is, we know from her history, Nikki will cave to those big donors when it counts,” remarked DeSantis in another instance.

Haley mostly ignored Ramaswamy’s personal attacks, and argued that DeSantis was simply “jealous” of her progress in the poll and donors.

Supporters of both DeSantis and Haley have declared victory in the wake of the debate, although there’s been no polling to vindicate either’s celebration.
