Pro-Trump Podcasters Give President Tough Reviews for First 100 Days: ‘He Liberated America of $5 Trillion Worth of Wealth’
The pro-Trump PBD Podcast gave President Donald Trump some tough reviews for his first 100 days in office on Tuesday, with one panelist musing that Trump had “liberated America of $5 trillion worth of wealth.”
“Overall, first hundred days, I give it a C+, and I get there this way: an A- on the plan, but a C- on the execution,” suggested panelist Tom Ellsworth to kick things off. “The execution got messy.”
“I’m right there with Tom, actually — C+,” agreed Adam Sosnick. “Because, you know, it’s almost like a team that starts off 10-0, you know, my beloved Miami Heat start off 10-0, and then all of a sudden they go on a ten-game losing streak.”
“Liberation Day, where he liberated America of like $5 trillion worth of wealth, and nobody saw it coming,” continued Sosnick. “So I don’t understand the methodology for what he was doing with Liberation Day.”
“I’m in the line of C only because it has not been a total catastrophe and it hasn’t been a smashing success,” submitted Viva Frei. “It started off strong with pardoning the Jan. 6ers and fulfilling a campaign promise to right that wrong as much as humanly possible. You got RFK in, and you got RFK [Jr.] and Tulsi [Gabbard] doing their thing which is fantastic.”
“Where it gets weak is-, I’m gonna focus on the Epstein just cause as far as I’m concerned, that was a sort of litmus test promise of the campaign, where Pam Bondi, illustrating that she’s either over her head, unqualified, or there’s something more sinister going on, making bold and big promises and then fumbling those and leading to more questions than answers,” he added, before nevertheless calling the opening days of his second term “transformational.”
“Well, as we all know, the last time he was the president, he came in, he was being spied on, and the Russia collusion thing was happening. He couldn’t be the president because he had to worry about that for four years,” argued Vincent Oshana in his at-bat before laying into former President Joe Biden and raving over Trump’s handling of the border and immigration, among other issues.
“I’m going B-,” he finished, arguing that “accountability matters” and “if we’re going to clean house, you have to clean all of it.”
Finally, the man for whom the show is named, Patrick Bet-David, raved over Trump’s attitude, effort, and innovation, as well as over the “teamwork” demonstrated by officials within his administration.
“But results? It’s C-, to me their grade right now C- on results,” continued Bet-David. “First hundred days, when you go purely by results, we were told day one there’s gonna be peace with Russia and Ukraine. It’s day 100, there’s no peace there — I thought there was gonna be a deal being done there. I thought the mineral deal was gonna be done, it’s taken too long. The negotiation with Greenland, we needed that, or we needed Ukraine, or we needed something with minerals. Not done. Panama was supposed to close. Hasn’t closed yet.”
Bet-David went on to argue that Trump must strike deals to end his trade wars as well as take action on Iran.
“In regards to results, it’s a C-. And I voted for this guy in ’16, in ’20, and ’24 gladly — happy I did. And it’s a C- today,” he concluded.
