Psaki Predicts Trump’s ‘Weirdo’ Running Mate Will Respond to Cat Ladies Controversy With ‘Gross, Misogynistic, Sexist, Racist’ Attacks on Harris

MNSBC anchor Jen Psaki predicted former President Donald Trump’s running mate Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) would soon “regroup” from a backlash to comments he made three years ago about childless Americans after he bemoaned their influence on American culture and policy.

Psaki predicted Vance, who she called a “weirdo,” would recover from the controversy and that he and Trump together they would be difficult for Vice President Kamala Harris to defeat. Psaki categorized Harris as the “underdog” after she joined the race last week.

Per the former Biden administration press secretary, Trump and Vance will hit Harris hard with “racist” and “misogynistic” attacks that might be difficult for her to overcome.

On Sunday’s edition of Inside with Jen Psaki, the host referenced Vance’s 2021 comments in her monologue.

She pointed to an interview with then-Fox News host Tucker Carlson in which the Hillbilly Elegy author said, “We are effectively run in this country via the Democrats, via our corporate oligarchs, by a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable too.”

In her analysis of Vance and the Trump campaign compared to Harris and her upstart White House bid, Psaki concluded:

So Kamala Harris in many ways might be the right candidate at the right time. The right candidate for this century, by the way. She might be the right candidate to tell the country, “Actually, we don’t have to go back. Actually, back wasn’t so great for lots of Americans, and that we can go forward instead.

I’m not going to sit here and tell you this is going to be easy. It is not. Donald Trump and his weirdo running mate and the Republican apparatus behind them will regroup. They will throw everything, it’s going to be gross, misogynistic, sexist, racist – all the things. Harris herself conceded yesterday that she is the underdog in this race, and that’s how everyone should treat it.
