RFK Jr. Catches Flak for ‘Hostage’ Photo With Trump and a Table Full of McDonald’s: He ‘Looks Horrified!’

 

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. — President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee to be Secretary of Health and Human Services — is catching flak for a viral photo in which he is seen posing with a table full of fast food.

In a photo posted to X by Trump deputy communications director Margo Martin, the famously health-conscious Kennedy appeared to have a pained expression as he held open a Quarter Pounder with Cheese from McDonald’s.

A video posted by Decoding Fox News — a left-leaning watchdog account on X — shows Kennedy, on Fox & Friends days before the election, denouncing the use of seed oil in fast foods. McDonald’s is among the chains which uses seed oil in its products.

The awkward look on Kennedy’s face did not escape the notice of observers on social media. Journalists and partisans on both sides of the aisle delighted in the image:
