‘SCANDAL!!!’ Trump Rages CBS Should Be Shut Down By FCC Over Kamala Harris Interview He Says Changed Election — That He Won
President Donald Trump raged that CBS should be shut down over an interview with then-Vice President Kamala Harris that he says changed the election — an election that he won.
Harris’s big October 60 Minutes interview went over like a lead balloon with Trump and his supporters, who accused the show of “deceitful” editing. That interview has been the subject of a lawsuit and an FCC complaint.
On Wednesday, CBS released the full unedited video and transcript of the interview and said in a statement that “They show – consistent with 60 Minutes’ repeated assurances to the public – that the 60 Minutes broadcast was not doctored or deceitful.”
Trump, however, saw things differently. After a careful overnight interval to consider his response, Trump sprang onto his Truth Social platform at the crack of dawn Thursday to demand the government crush CBS and also to rage about a made-up story about Politico:
CBS and 60 Minutes defrauded the public by doing something which has never, to this extent, been seen before. They 100% removed Kamala’s horrible election changing answers to questions, and replaced them with completely different, and far better, answers, taken from another part of the interview. This was Election changing “stuff,” Election Interference and, quite simply, Election Fraud at a level never seen before. CBS should lose its license, and the cheaters at 60 Minutes should all be thrown out, and this disreputable “NEWS” show should be immediately terminated. With the new Democrat scandal that just arose with respect to USAID illegally paying large sums of money to Politico and other media outlets, the question must me asked, was CBS paid for committing this FRAUD??? Many other questions to come! This will go down as the biggest Broadcasting SCANDAL in History!!!
The FCC can’t revoke CBS’s broadcast license because the network doesn’t have one — individual TV stations do. But Trump FCC Chairman Brendan Carr has previously threatened to punish the network in a number of ways. His response to Trump’s demand will be hotly anticipated.
