‘Take This Test!’ Trump Challenges Biden to Take the Cognitive Exam He ‘ACED’ Twice — As Both Men Draw Heat for Recent Gaffes

Former President Donald Trump challenged President Joe Biden to take a cognitive exam — amid a series of recent high-profile gaffes by both.
In a post to his Truth Social platform, the former president boasted about the two previous occasions on which he “ACED” a cognitive exam — and called for the tests to be mandatory for anyone seeking the presidency.
“Crooked Joe Biden must take a Cognitive Test,” Trump wrote. “Maybe that way we would be able to find out why he makes such terrible decisions. I took two of them, and ACED them both (no mistakes!). All Presidents, or people wanting to become President, should mandatorily take this test!”
Trump, in a video post on Truth Social Monday night, lashed out at Biden for claiming that he forgot his wife’s name during a speech at CPAC over the weekend. While many outlets concluded Trump did not actually make that gaffe, he has made numerous others in recent weeks — including, most notably, his mix-up of Nikki Haley and Nancy Pelosi.
Biden’s cognitive function has come under recent scrutiny in the wake of a devastating report by Special Counsel Robert Hur — who called the president an “elderly man with a poor memory.” In a press conference designed to refute the special counsel’s assessment, Biden made a viral mix-up — the leaders of Mexico and Egypt. That and other recent gaffes have led to media scrutiny about the 81-year-old president’s mental acuity ahead of a potential second term.
On Wednesday in the briefing room, a reporter grilled White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about the prospect of Biden taking a cognitive test.
