Trump Declares Surprise Third Debate on Fox News — Without Reply from Biden

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump announced that he was accepting an invitation to debate Joe Biden on Fox News Wednesday afternoon, although the Biden camp has yet to commit to such a forum.
On Wednesday morning, the Biden campaign announced that its principal would debate Trump twice under a particular conditions set of conditions, even going so far as to say it would only participate in a forum hosted by ABC News, CBS News, CNN, or Telemundo. In short order, Trump and Biden accepted invitations to a CNN debate in June and ABC debate in September.
But now Trump — who responded to Biden’s initial challenge by arguing that there should be “more than two debates” — appears to be trying use the momentum of the day to lock down a third forum on Fox News.
“Please let this TRUTH serve to represent that I hereby accept debating Crooked Joe Biden on FoxNews. The date will be Wednesday, October 2nd. The Hosts will be Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum. Thank you, DJT!” wrote Trump on Truth Social.
The Biden campaign has yet to publicly say if it has received an invitation to such an event or say if the president would consider participating in it.
