Trump Makes Threatening Prediction For Witness Michael Cohen at Fraud Trial: ‘Not Going To End Up Very Good For Him’

Former President Donald Trump made a threatening prediction about former fixer-turned-star witness Michael Cohen just seconds after Cohen left the courtroom, telling reporters, “This is not going to end up very good for him.”

Trump was in court Tuesday for his trial in the fraud case brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James and presided over by Judge Arthur Engoron. Also in court was Trump’s former fixer.

As he did last week, Trump took the occasional opportunity to rant to reporters about the case — and whatever else reporters could get him to talk about.

At one point, Cohen emerged from the courtroom after testifying and delivered a sarcastic quip on his way out:

REPORTER 1: Michael how did it feel to see Donald Trump again?

MICHAEL COHEN: (laughs) Heck of a reunion.

REPORTER 1: What do you want to say to him?

Seconds later, Trump emerged and launched an attack on Cohen that included the ominous message:

REPORTER 2: How do you feel about Jenna Ellis taking a plea deal?

REPORTER 1: How did it feel to see Michael Cohen again?

DONALD TRUMP: Well, it, uh, haven’t seen him in years. And you know, his record, his record is a horrible one. We have to do is ask the Southern District of New York. He’s got a horrible record. But then you start dealing –.

REPORTER 1: What about.

DONALD TRUMP: This is not going to end up very good for him.

REPORTER 1: What about his testimony?

DONALD TRUMP: We’re not worried at all about his testimony, and the testimony from the accounting firm was that everything was legit with all the pressure they were under, they were under tremendous pressure for years to say something else. And they (inaudible) ery strong and I give great respect to them for saying it. But we’re in the middle of this, so we’ll see how it is.

But you see what his record is, he’s not a credible witness. And so far he hasn’t said anything that matters. But he is not a credible witness.
