‘Um—‘ Kamala Harris Stumped When Asked To Name Three Good Things About Trump At Town Hall

Vice President Kamala Harris was stumped when a voter at a town hall asked her to name three “virtues” of former President Donald Trump — managing only one before laughing and pivoting “With the remaining time–.”

Harris has been on what has been described as a media blitz this week, with a big 60 Minutes interview, lengthy appearances on Alex Cooper’s popular Call Her Daddy podcast, ABC’s The View, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and more.

On Thursday night, VP Harris participated in a Univision Noticias town hall event entitled “Latinos Ask… Kamala Harris Responds,” during which she fielded questions from undecided Latino voters.

For her last question, a voter named Teresa Djedjro said she wanted to get “personal” and asked for Harris to list some good qualities. The VP responded first by slamming Trump for “belittling” people, then managing to list one quality before giving up with a laugh:

TERESA DJEDJRO: Could you please give me three virtues that prior Donald Trump has?

VP KAMALA HARRIS: So thank you for the question. (LAUGHS).

Let me start with this. I, I basically– based on a life experience. I know that the vast majority of us have so much more in common than what separates us.

And part of what pains me is the approach that, frankly, Donald Trump and some others have taken, which is to suggest that it’s us versus them, whoever that may be. And having Americans point fingers at each other, using language that’s about belittling people and calling them names and meant to make them afraid and live in fear.

I don’t think that’s healthy for our nation. And I don’t admire that. And, in fact, I’m quite critical of it coming from someone who wants to be president of the United States.

Um– (long pause)I think he, um– I think Donald Trump loves his family. And I think that’s very important. I think family is one of the most important things that we can prioritize.

But I don’t really know him, to be honest with you. I only met him one time on the debate stage. I’d never met him before, so I don’t really have much more to offer you.

But with the remaining time I have– (LAUGHS)
